A Colorful Mess: Paint Splatter Party!

Grab your easel, brushes, and let’s get painting…… or better yet, let’s have a painting-themed party!

As stylists and lovers of all things creative, we draw a lot of inspiration from color, texture, and patterns. The team over at Geese & Ganders (modern and stylish online party supply retailer) were kind enough to send us the most exciting PR package recently, and when we spotted these bright and unique paint splatter plates we instantly knew we would create a messy but fun paint party! These plates (and matching napkins) are in the most gorgeous royal blue shade with a hint of sheen to them. They’re sophisticated enough to make a statement at any party, but still totally kid-friendly.

To keep with the “splatter” effect we decided to {literally} splatter paint on brown crate paper to create our own DIY custom table runner. This DIY could not be easier…and it’s practically fool proof! Along the runner, we scattered small artist paint palettes, mini paint buckets filled with multi-colored candy, Rice Krispy treats dipped in colored chocolate made to look like little paintbrushes, and then the teeniest little water color sets.

This is the perfect party theme for anyone who has a little artist in their home! LIFE IS ART, LIVE IN COLOR!
