Valentine’s Day Fit For A Francophile

Valentine’s Day is just a couples weeks away and when we think about our dream destination for this romantic holiday,  we think of the one and only Paris, France! Of all the places we have travelled, nowhere can really compare to the culture, scenery, and energy of Paris.  We wanted this tablescape to inspire you to treat your special person (or people) to an entertaining experience that’s inspired by Parisian casual elegance.
And what is Valentine’s Day without sweets?!?! We found THE perfect cookies to give to each of our guests–Eiffle Tower Cookies–and placed them on “Francophile” plates from Anthroplogie. We love these plates so much. The beautiful hand painted pictures with little French sayings give as all the love vibes. How cool is the map of Paris in the center?!?! Paper Source for the win yet again! You can mentally pack your bags and decide what places you plan to visit.  Not to leave out our most favorite Parisian dessert, the macaron, we chose a whimsical presentation for them by filling them in our mini suitcases. And what beverage goes best to wash down our sweet treats? A nice champagne cocktail of course! We like this recipe from Bon Appetit:
