It’s the most wonderful time of the year! (in our humble opinion, anyway). You see, we’re sweater-weather, cozy fireside, and over-the-top excitement for the Holidays kind of girls. Our first order of business this month: create a signature festive Fall cocktail, that we can sip with friends and family while relishing in the spirit of the season. We are obsessed with our spin on the classic “‘Moscow Mule” that has fresh Blood Orange and Pomegranate juice, garnished with sugared cranberries and rosemary.
Cheers, Friends! (recipe below)
Pomegranate-Blood Orange Mule:
Ingredients (for 2 drinks):
- 1 Blood Orange
- 3 oz. Vodka
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 1 (12oz) bottle of ginger beer
- Fresh pomegranate seeds, blood orange slices, rosemary sprigs, and some fresh cranberries dipped in lemon juice and then lightly rolled in sugar, all for garnish
Instructions (makes 2 drinks):
In a cocktail shaker, combine the blood orange juice, vodka, and pomegranate juice together and shake well to combine. Then, distribute the mixture evenly over 2 chilled copper mule mugs, with ice. Then, top off each mug with ginger beer, and garnish with a cranberry/blood orange rosemary skewer.
