A Night with Hendrick’s Gin at Rancho Valencia!

We were greeted with this signature cocktail, named “The Hendrick’s Experience”: Hendrick’s Gin, Green Chile Vodka, Lemongrass, Summer Herbs, and Lime.

Croquet and cocktails sipped in a fancy teacup? YES PLEASE!
Learning from the pros at Hendrick’s how to operate a custom-built negroni machine!

Last night we were treated to a beautiful event at Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa, featuring custom cocktails with Hendrick’s Gin. The theme was coined “a most unusual and superbly spirited garden party”, and we had such an amazing time sipping some of the best cocktails of our lives (seriously) from the most beautiful little teacups (which we were kindly gifted), and prancing around on the gorgeous lawn of the resort. As stylists, we felt right at home here. Every corner of Rancho Valencia is immaculate and designed with perfected “luxury hacienda” style. Hendrick’s really hit it out of the park with their theme and style, too! Check out the branding on this awesome motorcycle and vintage car…

After sampling ¬†swiftly¬†drinking the signature Hendrick’s cocktail featuring Green Chile Vodka and Lemon Grass, and our very own cocktail from a custom-built negroni machine (gin, aperol, vermouth), we relaxed, caught up with a few friends, and explored the property a little further.

We love it when a resort is the epitome of understated luxury. Sometimes, you just need a calming atmosphere and an itinerary that doesn’t include 8 hour sightseeing trips so you can actually relish spending time on-property. We imagine the guests who stay here¬†seek ultimate refuge from the rat race of the busy work week, and appreciate stellar¬†service combined with some pretty impeccable surroundings. ¬†Well done, Rancho Valencia! Your event was filled with whimsical garden fun—right at that magical time in May when the dog days of summer are calling…
