Poison Apple Cocktail

Halloween is only THREE days away!

So far, as part of our “Halloween” series on the Sparkle + Toast blog , we have shared a few DIY’s, a tablescape idea for a dinner party, entryway decor inspiration, and a few of our favorite spooky fashion and beauty products.

Obviously there’s still one very important item left on our last-weekend-before-Halloween checklist: A Signature Cocktail! We decided to channel a classic fairytale for our inspiration…the notorious poison apple, also known as the symbol of evil in the story of Snow White.

But first…we’re so excited to share with you our haunted bar style we’ll be setting up for ghoulish drinks this coming October 31st…enjoy!

Poison Apple Cocktail Recipe:

3 oz. of vodka of your choice

2 oz. of dark cherry juice

3 oz. of cold apple cider (our favorite is from Trader Joe’s)

Add the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker, mix to combine, strain, and pour over ice. Mini apples (or apple slices) and blackberries make for a perfect and pretty garnish!
